<li>The "Add Bearing" tool, featuring camera zoom, allows triangulation of distant points of interest—useful for locating phenomena such as smoke sightings.</li>

Designed primarily to support Australian volunteer Bushfire Fighters from the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS), as well as professionals and enthusiasts requiring precise GPS location services.

RFS Buddy translates GPS coordinates into the MGRS standard adopted by RFS operations, including the LPI Map name and reference number. It also supports multiple formats and incorporates a Fire-ground Field Notes feature for recording key reference points such as hazards or smoke observations.

FIELD NOTES
<ul>
<li>Allows users to name and record their current position in a list that displays all five GPS formats upon swipe-right for quick access.</li>
<li>Includes the ability to select specific location reference icons for clarity.</li>
<li>The Text to Convert feature facilitates rapid conversion between Grid References and Latitude/Longitude coordinates, with immediate validation on the integrated map.</li>
<li>Locations can be shared or published according to organizational hierarchy—State, District, or Brigade—pending subscription activation.</li>
<li>Saved locations are expandable to display all coordinate formats alongside corresponding maps for comprehensive situational awareness.</li>
